Label Materials and Applications

Note: The TLS PC Link and TLS 2200 labelers use the same supplies. Supplies purchased for one machine may be used in the other.

Nylon Cloth - low profle through-conduit wire marking, component and general labeling.

Paper - Bar code and general labeling

Perma Sleeve (shrink tube) - permanent heat shrink wire identification

Polyester - electronic PCB I.D. and component bar code labels and rating plates; terminal block, outlet and patch panel identification, and general labeling.

Polyethyleme - multipurpose identification tags, where durability is required.

Polyimide - Underside PCB I.D. and other high temperature, high performance applications.

Polyolefin - Wire marking, fiber optic marking and general labeling.

Polypropylene - Wire, cable and product inventory labels.

Tedlar - Aerospace and military cable marking, self-laminating wire and cable wraps.

Vinyl - tamper-evident labels, self-laminating wireand cable wraps, pathway, racks, voltage markers, wire bundles, rating plates and general labeling.

Vinyl Cloth - Wire and terminal block marking; component and general labeling.

TLS PC Link Ribbons

Ribbons are available in black, blue, red and white. Blue, red and white ribbons are only available for use with some ployester and polyimide labels. Three types of black ribbons are available. The correct black ribbon must be used for the label material being used.

Bulk Labels

Labels are now available in bulk. A larger roll of labels can be mounted external to the TLS PC Link printer to allow continuous printing of the same label type without having to frequently reload the TLS PC Link. A reusable dispenser box protects labels from dust and debris, and provides easy storage until the next identification job. Bulk labels utilize Brady's Smart Cell Technology to allow the TLS PC Link printer to recognize the label size and adjust printer settings automatically.

Please note, the TLS PC Link is a medium duty label printer. It is recommended that no more than 500 labels be printed per print run.
