Making Warning Signs With Labelers

Learn How To Make Warning Signs With Your Labeler

Design Requirements: Warning signs most often have an orange body with a black panel at the top. The word "WARNING" is printed in orange on the black panel. Additional wording and pictograms are printed in black on the lower portion of the sign.

Warning signs represent a hazard level between Caution and Danger. A warning indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

As with other types of safety signs, it is important that warning signs use clear, easy-to-read print; have appropriate pictograms; and be long-lasting and durable.
