If you need a new
handheld label printer, we recommend the Kroy
K5100 hand held labeler. It prints both shrink tubes (wire labels)
and self-laminating wire (and cable) wraps. Unlike the Brady I.D.
Pro Plus, which was a dot matrix printer, wire and cable labels
made with the Kroy K5100 will not smear. The K5100 is a 300 dpi
thermal transfer printer that clearly prints even fine detail, and
produces wire and cable labels that are durable, readable and long
lasting.
In addition, the Kroy
K5100 also prints standard labels for general applications such
as labels for tools, equipment, panels, instruments, etc. It also
has speciality supplies such as Cast Vinyl for making labels that
conform to curved surfaces.

 The
Brady I.D. PRO Plus was a small, least cost method available
to print wire, equipment, face plate and component labels on location
and on demand.
Designed for
versatility as well as portability, it could accommodate three different
materials widths from 0.59" to 1.59". The self-adjusting
printhead accepts a wide variety of labeling materials including
self-laminating and vinyl cloth, plus BradySleeve and PermaSleeve
shrink tube wire markers.
Although the
Brady I.D. Pro Plus has been discontinued by Brady, we stock supplies
for this label printer. Most supply orders ship the same day we
receive the P.O., so you can have the Brady I.D. Pro Plus supplies
you need tomorrow morning--if you specify overnight shipping.
